The first....haircut!

We tried to give Sawyer a mohawk for this picture, but the problem is, his hair is soo long, that the mohawk just flops over!

We loved Sawyers long and shaggy hair, but unfortuantely this day was bound to come sooner or later. Sawyer's hair was getting so long, and it is so thin, that it was starting to look like he had a comb-over!

Sawyer wasn't extremely happy to have his hair cut, but he cooperated quite well. Now whenever we exclaim over how cute his haircut is, he smiles and pulls on his hair to show that he understands.

(Don't worry, we spiked his hair for this picture, but the haircut did come out nice and even for more dignified hairdos.)

We love Sawyer's new shorter hair. It is so sad to cut away that sweet baby hair, but I love to see his eyes better, and he looks so cute as an older toddler as well!
